Today’s modern digital cameras have very accurate auto focus features but they require a certain light level and contrast range in order to function. This can be a problem underwater so having a continuous light source mounted above the camera lens port will help the camera focus. The FF-3×5W AFO meets this need since the Auto Flash-Off function will automatically turn off the light for 2 seconds when your strobe fires. This can be a great advantage when shooting at slow shutter speeds.

Powered by 8 AA batteries, both Alkaline and Ni-MH, the light has a burn time of12 hours. To conserve power the light has a Hi-Lo power switch that lets you choose between Hi at 100% and Lo at 70% this will extended the burn time and more importantly reduce reflection on objects at close range. The Corrosion resistant anodized aluminum alloy housing of the light will assure years of maintenance free use.
The FF-3×5W AFO also makes a great primary dive light for many dive situations. The light has a color temperature of 6500K, with a beam angle from 60 . The unique «flying fish» shape makes this light hydrodynamic and features a rotary magnetic switch that can’t cause a light flooding.
